YOGA & ICE BATHING
Goosebumps feeling with a difference
Recharge your batteries, breathe deeply, immerse yourself.
At Lake Zell, we combine the power of yoga with the invigorating freshness of ice bathing. The combination of conscious movement, breathing techniques, and cold strengthens body and mind, activates the immune system, and provides inner peace.
We begin with a flowing, powerful yoga practice, warming up our bodies and getting our circulation going. Breathing exercises (pranayama) accompany the asanas and help sharpen our concentration. With a clear focus, we then hike together to the lake. There we surrender to the cold water, connect with nature, and find inner peace, strength, and clarity.
After the ice bath, we warm up again, enjoy a cup of tea, and end the session in the yoga room with a long relaxation (Savasana).

Why?
When taking an ice bath, the body reacts immediately: blood vessels constrict, circulation is activated, and the immune system is strengthened – like a mini workout for the heart and mind. Cold promotes regeneration, reduces inflammation, releases endorphins, and makes you feel alive and centered.
Combined with yoga, you're optimally prepared: Through movement and conscious breathing, you activate warmth from within, strengthen your focus, and find inner peace. This turns diving into the cold water into a moment of courage, clarity, and pure presence—supported by a supportive community.
Benefits:
-
Strengthen the immune system
-
Boost circulation & metabolism
-
Faster regeneration
-
Happiness & Well-being
-
Connected with nature
How?
To properly prepare for ice bathing, it's recommended to gradually acclimate yourself to the cold with alternating showers. This way, your body is already trained to enter cold water.
During the session, we'll get your circulation going with flowing yoga and breathing exercises, sharpen your concentration, and find your focus. With calm breathing, a relaxed posture, and a positive mindset, we'll dive into the water—a moment of mindfulness, meditation, and conscious connection with ourselves.
You should bring:
-
Swimwear
-
